Anthony and his two colleagues were great in calling before their arrival, carefully disassembling and reassembling my Bed Frame and Kitchen Table, moving everything, asking me at my new place where I wanted my Furniture and packed boxes to be placed, and with their all-around great attitude and customer service! Mario, James, Raul, and Tommy did a great job moving us out of our home into a set of storage pods and returned a couple of weeks later to unload. It was particularly tricky to fit all of our stuff into the storage pods, but they were able to pack it to the brim, while keeping everything safe. They moved us into a newly painted home with new floors / carpet and were very careful throughout the process. Highly recommend this company and this crew.
Requested a quote on Friday for a move following Monday for a decent move I just had very large heavy furniture going to a two story townhouse and Desmond and Aaron were very professional and ready to get work done on time. These two guys plowed thru this very fast, carefully and efficient. Nothing was damaged during the move from point A to point B. The movers are happy to help you pack, but packing needs to be arranged in advance. Quality moving supplies are available at reasonable prices.
The sooner the better. About two months in advance is usually enough to offer you dates, and last minute movers are also available.
A three hour minimum applies Monday through Saturday with crews of two or three movers. A four hour minimum applies to all Sunday moves, and to moves needing four or more movers.
Yes. Family Affair Moving has crews specially trained for piano relocation, with the supplies and equipment to pack, load, transport, and unload safely.
No. Animals are not allowed on board the moving truck.
The office is closed on Sundays, but moving services are available seven days a week. Sunday moves are by appointment only.
